Intermediate Ballet IV-V

Ballet IV and V we call them the connecting years, between the beginning and intermediate level. Some of the main objectives include: Gaining stability in working on big poses, developing leg muscle strength, preparation for all turns and landings, big jumps in the center, arms and upper body movements are more detailed. The rhythm of the combinations becomes faster. We begin to introduce more advanced movements, including adagio forms with tempo change and complex body movements. Mastery of pirouettes with diagonal movements. Students in this division follow the Vaganova Method in years four and five and receive training in more advanced variations. At this age, we pay more attention to musicality, artistic expressiveness and self-care.
